These are busy days, but good days.
One of my joys in life is being a grandmother. Here is one of my favorite spots in my home. I love a little quiet time on my side porch.
Part of last week, Wed. through the weekend we attended our annual church conference. This year it was held in Belleville, PA. Thanks to all you local folks who worked so hard to make our stay so comfortable.
On our way home we stopped in Baltimore for a short visit at our son Jeremy's place. Max and Bo were down by the creek with company.
Ariel was down for her nap but before we left we did get to hold her.
Saturday night we drove to Uncle Lloyd and Aunt Orpha's home for the night. Aunt Orpha showed me a comfort that her mom's mom (Mark's great grandmother) had pieced and made out of the boys in the family's old pants.

I love your side porch! It looks so peaceful and welcoming! Did you get any hexies sewn up while you were on your trip?
Donna I must have set my goals to high. I didn't even get one finished. Oops!
Your new blog looks great. I do believe you are getting the hang of it. Keep it up!
Hi Polly! I stopped by, finding your site through Theresa (chambray)....glad to see you here on BlogSpot and that you're summer is going well.
That picture of your husband and the baby is so precious, she looks so teeny in his arms.
Enjoy the rest of the summer!
Love, Shanda (purpleamethyst76)
